Over Maria..
Born in Madrid, as the daughter of a cabinetmaker, I have kept in memory the various scents of varnishes he used, and the desire to paint naturally became obvious.
In 2005, I enrolled at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Watermael-Boitsfort and obtained the qualification certificate in May 2012.
Since 2010, I have been working in the studio of artist and sculptor Victoria Calleja, whose constant motivation to fuel my desire to paint has given me a strong sense of commitment to painting. At the same time, in 2014, I spent a year with the late artist Max Morton in Schaerbeek, discovering other techniques, particularly the use of pigments.
From 2017 to 2020, enrolled at the Dinant Academy, I explored various techniques such as lithography, screen printing, engraving, sculpture, drawing, oil painting, and the use of pigments, among others.
My inspirations are diverse and vary according to my mood.
My techniques are also very varied, ranging from abstract to figurative.
