Description

While Focant is a village, Gozin is only considered a hamlet of Beauraing. Nevertheless, they are often associated with each other, probably because they are both on the road from Beauraing to the motorway.

The church in Focant

This church, dedicated to Saint-Pancrace, was built in 1853.

This chapel, although dedicated to St. Nicholas in the past, is now dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua. It was built in 1922.

The Comogne farm

This farm is a horse dairy. It has been in operation since 1997. It is the only horse dairy in the Benelux that is run organically.

The natagora reserve

Made up of more or less humid meadows and a more forested area dotted with clearings, this reserve is favourable to the presence of many different animals and plants, such as the ophioglossa vulgaris, the selinium, the meadowfoam, as well as some beautiful orchids.
