Description

Javingue-Sevry is a quiet village of about 350 inhabitants. It is situated on a foothill separating the Ardenne (to the south) from the Famenne (to the north). The soil is chalky.

The church in Sevry

The parish church of St. Stephen is a neoclassical building that was built in 1862. The main interest of the church lies in the tombstone of Etienne-Nicolas de Bériot (1727), bailiff of the county of Agimont.
