De tentoonstelling Christine D. wordt gehouden in de toeristische dienst van Beauraing van 20\/09 tot 02\/10\/2024. De werken van de kunstenares worden elke dag tentoongesteld van 8u30 tot 12u en van 13u tot 17u. De toegang is gratis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Mijn naam is Christine. Ik woon nu iets meer dan 11 jaar in Beauraing, om niet te zeggen Sevry. Toen ik klaar was met de restauratie van mijn huis, dat onbewoonbaar was toen ik het kocht, moest ik iets vinden om te doen\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ik droomde altijd van glas in lood, keramiek, schrijven en allerlei andere activiteiten behalve sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op een dag, toen ik op pad was, had ik het geluk om even langs te gaan bij Colette de pottenbakker. Deze plek is mijn thuisbasis geworden. Ik houd me bezig met ongelijksoortige activiteiten zoals lezen, fauteuils bekleden of het begin van boekbinden, maar elke week keer ik terug naar de haven voor momenten van puur geluk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ik struin de plaatselijke ambachtelijke markten af en ook wat verder weg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In september zet ik mijn keramiek een paar dagen neer bij het VVV-kantoor van Beauraing. Het zijn fonteinen en waterspuwers, onderwerpen zo uitgestrekt en nog onvervuld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Met terracotta is alles mogelijk, maar ik ben nog maar net begonnen\u2026 De rest komt in andere levens, zo oneindig is de schepping en zo verschillend zijn de levens\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sinds vele jaren nodigt de toeristische dienst van Beauraing kunstenaars uit de streek uit om hun werk tentoon te stellen in de lokalen van de dienst. Het is voor hen een uitgelezen kans om hun werk te tonen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
