The Marie Cornélis exhibition will be on show at the Beauraing Tourist Office from July 10 to July 22 2026. The works of this painter will be on display every day from 8.30am to 12pm and from 1pm to 5pm. Admission is free.

Silence and solitude are inseparable from my act of creation.

Time seems suspended… the present moment takes on its full importance.

When a painting is completed, I experience a profound inner serenity and a sense of pictorial fulfillment.

I favor large formats, where distance no longer exists…

My painting is an alternation between inner reflection and spontaneous gesture.

I am a painter of atmospheres, of places that move me: landscapes, scenes of everyday life, shared tenderness…

Great importance is given to the skies, whose colors and movements set the tone.

The richness of colors and media (acrylics and oils) makes light and color vibrate across the canvas.

Occasionally, calligraphy—through form and gesture—enters into symbiosis with the painting.

My works, reflections of felt experience, subtly suggest rather than impose, inviting those who linger to connect with their own sensitivity.
