- Duration : 3h
- Price : 40€/pers.
- Capacity: 6 people max

In a rural setting, come and learn how our ancestors dyed the wool of their sheep!
Thanks to the liquid dye technique (food dyes, mother dye of pigments without heavy metals), decorate your skein (future ball of wool) in a unique and original way!
You will also be able to discover the daily life of the sheep on the farm: you will see them grazing, discover how to approach them, what they like to eat, etc. 😉
On the programme :
- Visit of the sheepfold
- Walk in the surrounding countryside to collect plants that will be used to dye the wool
- Preparation, cooking and dyeing
- Short break to enjoy a good juice and a snack
Meet your organiser, Brigitte !

A spinning wheel found in the back of the attic, a spinner discovered by chance at a craft fair in Brittany, a meeting with a friend who is passionate about vegetable dyeing, a building on our farm to be renovated and, naturally, some sheep! This is how my passion for handmade wool began, not to mention the basic knitting and crocheting techniques passed on by my mother since childhood.
Starting from the animal to create an object, finding the time and the pleasure of creation at a slower pace, in the respect of nature. Passing on this art of living excites me, as I was a teacher in another life.
