Marie-Chantal Estienne exhibition

The Marie-Chantal Estienne exhibition will be on show at the Beauraing Tourist Office from September 19 to October 01 2025. The works of this painter will be on display every day from 8.30am to 12pm and from 1pm to 5pm. Admission is free.

I am an artist who loves to be moved by the beauty of nature.
It is generally from this connection that an inner impulse drives me to pick up my brushes and translate onto canvas the atmospheres and emotions I experience.
I often paint from memory; sometimes from a photograph I have taken—one that still resonates with me at the moment I choose it.
I have noticed that my “artistic journey” began with purely figurative representations and has gradually evolved towards greater abstraction.
You are warmly invited to the exhibition I will be holding at the Beauraing Tourist Office in September.
It would bring me great joy to share this moment with you.

My journey:
I studied graphic design in Brussels and worked in this field for many years in a communication agency.
At the same time, I took art classes at the Maison des Arts in Schaerbeek, where I practiced charcoal, soft pastel, and watercolor.
Later, I enrolled in evening classes at an art school in Walloon Brabant, where I began painting with acrylics.
After moving to the border region of Beauraing a few years ago, I joined a Fine Arts Academy in the area, where I continued this artistic path and enthusiastically explored the richness of oil painting.

For many years now, the Beauraing Tourist Office has been inviting artists from the region to exhibit their work on its premises. It’s a great opportunity for them to showcase their work.
